Ads is what builds your credibility, allows you to reach out to new customers, makes more sales. These are just the very basic benefits that come from advertising your business.

Bottom line:

Saying that, what does it take to create a successful ad campaign?

There are 5 essential components to great ad. These are:

Delivery Method

There are many different advertising mediums, such as print, digital, outdoor and broadcast (and more).

All of them serve a variety of different purposes in different locations. The choice of medium should be based on your targeted audience.

Plus the look of your ad is just as important as the message itself.

Meaning, you need an attention-getter that makes people want to know more about your products/services.

Features

How is your product or service different from your competitors?

Present facts.

If you want people to chose your brand, you need to give them a reason for it.

Call To Action

Research shows that ads with a specific command reach better results.

Take urgency, for example. If you ad says “Product/Service available for limited time ONLY”, sales will spike.

When urgency is created, it often spurs customers into action.

Persuade

Once you have the attention, you will need to add compelling reasons for your potential customers to purchase your products/services.

Make an offer to the customer, such as price, terms or any other information they want to buy.

And, don’t leave the conversation without offering more to those who are interested.

Benefits

You have to showcase the benefits of your products and services.

More importantly, show how they will solve or prevent a problem. While benefits are closely related to features, they are not the same.

Benefits explain how this purchase can solve their problems.
